Description
JUN 5–JUL 3, 2024 This Tony-nominated musical follows the early life and career of Carole King on her journey from teenage songwriter to chart-topping solo artist. King wrote for many of the biggest names in music, often alongside her husband, but it wasn’t until she made the leap from the writer’s room to the stage that she truly found her voice. This inspiring story of love, heartbreak, and empowerment features over two dozen hits, including “One Fine Day,” “Will You Love Me Tomorrow,” and “Natural Woman.”
Audio description allows patrons who are blind or have low vision to hear a live, objective, and concise description of the action on stage in between dialogue and/or music using an earpiece attached to a small, hand-size transistor. “Sensory Seminars” occur prior to each performance where patrons can receive more detailed descriptions of the costumes, set, and props, as well as feel select items to gain a more tactile experience. Audio description devices may be obtained at the access services window of the box office.

For open-captioned performances, a large digital screen that projects dialogue is placed on the edge of the stage on the left side of the auditorium. Seats for patrons utilizing this services are noted in purple on our seating map.
