Name
Disney's The Little Mermaid - Audio-Described, Open-Captioned, & ASL-Interpreted
Description
For audio-described performances, patrons who are blind or have low vision may hear a live description of the action on stage in between dialogue and/or music using a small earpiece and listening device. Sensory seminars occur prior to each audio-described performance where patrons can receive more detailed descriptions of the costumes, set, and props, as well as feel select items to gain a more tactile experience. CLICK HERE to access seats if you require use of audio description services. For open-captioned and ASL-interpreted performances, theatrical sign language interpreters will stand in front of the stage on the left side of the auditorium, next to a large digital screen that projects dialogue as the action occurs on stage. CLICK HERE to access seats near the interpreters and caption screen for patrons who benefit from these services, which are noted as price section "H" on the seating map. MORE INFO
